Our pathway unfolds among holly and hazelnut trees, through deer territory in the Cordal de Ponga. Abandoned villages, echoing the past, guide us to Taranes, the mythic hamlet which retains its pre-Romanesque name. The second day prolongs our journey towards Caso, over the hillsides of Pico Tiatordos, ending in the village of Pendones in the Redes Natural Park.
A two days guided experience, with journeys of eight hours length approximately.
A nature sports guide, accommodation and a support vehicle are provided.
It is also possible to hike only for a day: either PiloƱa-Ponga or Ponga-Caso.
Optional ascent to Tiatordos peak.
A minimum of 4 people is required for this activity.
